I disagree with you 100%. So far nobody has gotten hurt (correction), 2 people did got beaten and robbed last year in their home down the beach. Times have changed all over the world and La Manzanilla is no exception. I'd rather have the Police WITH guns then criminals with them. Maybe if they catch a few, life could be more relaxed. The Police are going to be there to protect the village and hopefully to intimidate the others (criminals) to leave.
