Hi Petra, what exactly do you mean by " talking la huerta"?I was in La Huerta after I got assaulted, and had a meeting with the president of the police who introduced Frank to me and the police president,Frank and I had a meeting with the president of Ministerio Publico which is responsible for investigation. As to the money, it is not about paying Frank's salary, but about the police being understaffed and not equiped, and Frank himself said, that what is needed in form of donations are material things, like radios, or a police car. This would be a much safer and controllable way to improve things than by donating money, don't you think? Also, please keep in mind that in La Manzanilla you are quite blessed by having the police station in town, the rest of the coast is very much cut off whith long distances to cover for the police in case of emergency, and there is a lot of violence going on.
