Last Monday I faxed the newspaper interview of Mr. Orosco where he claims to have been on the Houston SWAT team, to the City of Houston employee records department in care of Mr Bienvenue, the person in charge according to the current website. I followed up with a phone call to make sure the fax went through and was able to talk to Mr. Bienvenue personally (!) He asked why these enquiries were still coming in - that he had already checked the records of employment back to 1984 and there was no record of Frank Lara Orosco working for Houston, much less the SWAT team. I thanked him and asked him if he would also check for Frank Lara, because some people might just use their mother's last name to seek employment. As yet I haven't heard back from him, but IŽll let you know. I wonder also, if the information on the Pierce County Sheriff's website is innacurate why Mr. Orosco didn't sue them a long time ago? ps: thanks Daniel, for your attempts at imparatiality here.
