Bike Ride to Tenacatita

Anyone wanting to take a dirt road bike ride to Tenacatita can join me next Friday, 3/12/10. I will be leaving from Palapa Joe's at 9:00am and returning around noon. If you have a helmet, please wear it and bring a spare inner tube together with some water. I have a pump(shroeder valve only). The ride is approximately 10 miles each way, mostly on seldom traveled dirt roads. But, we may have to ride for a quarter mile on the highway. There are hills, both up and down, comming and going and 2 miles of cobble stones. It is not an easy ride but do-able if you are in shape or have off road riding experience. The scenery is spectacular. There are tiendas at the other end for water and food. Bill Morgan |
