Then we have a volunteer position just for you! La Catalina Educational Foundation is looking for volunteers with some teaching experience and also some experience working with children. If you fit this criteria, and are free any time from now until the end of March, please contact me, Elizabeth Cabrera (la_catalina_cabrera@hotmail.com). We need volunteers to work Monday through Thursday from 3-4pm starting this week. Mondays and Wednesdays are basic English classes for children, and Tuesdays and Thursdays are basic art classes also for children (arts and crafts, coloring and painting activities, etc.). You don’t need to commit to a long period of time. You can even commit to just 1 week or a few days during a certain week. Hope to hear back from some of you soon! |
