I am a long-ago friend of Steven's. We met in Amsterdam in the 70's and shared 6+ years together. In that time we travelled all over the world, including a final move to San Francisco and a long stint in La Manzanilla before we finally went our separate ways - me back to Canada and Steven to La Manzanilla. I was just told of his passing by some mutual friends and just wanted to post my sincere condolences to his family here. I haven't been in touch with any of the family in years, but I haven't forgotten any of them, in particular Dorothy, Mark and David. I am so happy to read here that Steven had a beautiful happy family to share his life with and it makes me just as happy to see that he loved animals and their habitats as much now as then. I send my love to all who loved him and may he watch over his family. Love, Terry
