It's Hwy 200 all the way. Try to take the tunnel in PV if you want to avoid all that traffic on the way from the airport. The road is in good condition - they seem to fix the potholes quickly. It takes around 3 hours or so to get to La Manzanilla. It's very safe and no problems stopping anywhere. There are gas stations and places to stop to eat all the way along. The ride is prettiest just outside Vallarta, but the road there is twisty. It straightens out quite a bit after an hour or so, but it's not near the ocean for views. Buena Suerte! |
