another pyrorey explosion

Dan put a Pyrorey casserole dish in the oven, thinking it was as good as Pyrex - it shattered when he took it out of the oven and sat it on the counter. Shards of glass flew everywhere. This was a fairly new glass "baking" dish - so it is not a case of fatigue - if you do a search of older posts on this board, you will see that it has happened to several people already - very dangerous! So don't think of this stuff as Pyrex, it is not the same. It is made in Mexico, and there is a website with a telephone number. Tomorrow I will call them and suggest they do a recall - should be interesting.
