The fun thing about going away for 6 months is coming back to see what survived and what appears out of nowhere. That's why it seems to make sense to throw the seeds everywhere. The one that did so well here had found its perfect home - the right amount of sun, moisture, protection from wind, etc. Some of the others are either macho (no fruit) or rather small with only a few fruits, this year at least. Throw some seeds outside of your property, too, so everyone feels welcome to harvest them. Buen suerte!
