Needing help

I have a macintosh ibook laptop which is not booting. I am told by my tech that if I can find another mac and connect the two with firewire (I have the cable) that he can help me, by accessing my hard drive through the second computer and doing the repairs.
If you have a mac and are willing to allow me to come over to your house and skype him on your computer and attempt a repair, I would be very grateful. Since I currently cannot pick up email, please call me on my cell at 315-108-7733. I know this request is a long shot, but miracles are always happening. Hopefully one will come to me.
