I agree about moving people back, but you have to careful - particularly as a gringo - in a situation like this.

Since I made this post, two more tortugas have come ashore and laid their eggs. In those cases, the locals helped hide the tracks and the nests.

Maybe we will have a big hatch soon - and more turtles...
