Thank you Larry for a bit of sanity. You will already probably be tired from your flight, so to drive 30+ minutes south of your destination to buy staples (probably without a cooler, as well) is a large round-trip detour. Just hie thee to La Manz, but stop at Fredy's Mariscos just past the entrance to Barra de Navidad (after the third tope next to the fancy car wash) to buy a coctel de camarones mediano (this is enough for two people) para llevar (to go) con todo excepto catsup (with everything except catsup). Then pig out on a great meal for two for under $7.00 USD and go shopping the next day locally but probably in Melaque. You don't need no stinking big stores, if you get the film reference, unless you are staying for at least a few weeks.
