I thought that the only US or Canadian plated vehicle that could be registered in Mexico had to be exactly 10 years old - no more, no less. That is a fairly recent law.

Our Mexican insurance only covers those drivers who are named in the policy, so I never allow others to drive it - ever!

Ask Frank about loaning your car to others.
