Arleen heard at the Cisco's Amigos luncheon today that the beach for surfing would be decided at the last minute based on the waves. So looking for a sign as you get toward the end of Arroyo Seco (the town) might be helpful. If not, ask the locals to point which way they went. There are usually in my experience, more surfers and better waves on the road to the right, not toward Las Brisas. But, who can predict these things? BTW: Don't even think about taking a dip yourself unless you are a surfer with board attached to your ankle or someone with an Olympic swimming medal within the last two Games. The undertow is deadly. I repeat: DEADLY. Don't even toe dip.
