Intercam has a good process - I set up an account with them over a year ago - I keep a small amount in this account to keep it open -- I have a couple of chooses on how I use it. 1. I can have money sent from my US account to Intercam in New York it is then transferred to Intercam in Melaque with no charge. 2. Go in and write a check at Intercam and have it deposited into my Intercam account. There is no fee to do this - I can then have them write me a check that Banamex will cash or do a deposit into my Banamex account. There are no fees to do this. 3. If I write a check and have it cashed at Intercam then I pay $8.00 fee - since I don't like to pay fees I do step #2. Although at times they have waived this fee and gone ahead and cashed the check it is not there norm. My understanding, which I am not sure is true or not, is that by taking a Intercam check to Banamex or having the money transferred into my Banamex account will not effect the amount that Banamex has as a max deposit each month. I am told that I will not have to pay the fee by doing my deposit through Intercam to Banamex. This is according to Intercam but I have not verified this with Banamex. Hope this helps Mary |
