I was about to buy a Polaris 13' with a 20HP Honda 4-stroke engine in excellent condition. Then I talked to Ray in La Manz, the Canadian tuna-boat fisherman who is now in Argentina with his oriental/Argentine girlfriend. He said that the inflatables are inherently unstable and that it would be a mistake to buy one. He recommended a 14' aluminum boat with a minimum 20HP four-stroke engine. I would love to hear a response to this from someone who owns an inflatable similar to the one I almost bought. I loved it, but never took it in the water. Plus, my 90-year-old mother told me, "they say the happiest two days of a man's life are the day he buys a boat...and the day he sells it." (No sexism intended, that's what she said.) I know you have moved to Jocotepec, so I understand why you are selling. I'm still tempted. How about a response to Ray's comments? Remember, too, that you boated on the Bahia de Navidad and we would be on the Bahia de Tenacatita. ¡Qué le vaya bien!
