For those of you who were sleeping in after that long night of fun. The results of the first 40 and over game is now history. The older team Real La Manzanilla defeated the upstarts (Manzanilla)4-1 in a hard fought match. Both teams began slow and continued the slowness which comes with the older life. Some sparkling moments with few time outs for injury. The temp on the field was 76. The evidence of over indugents by some players the night before was evident after the first 10min. All and all no serious fights and most seemed to return to be friends. Sun 9th Real Manzanilla travels to play Montecarlo and Manzanilla will be at home against Jaluco both games start at 10:00. So come on out and see one of the best sporting events in town. P.S. The younger men also play on Sat and Sun. I will obtain a schedule of these games and post.
