flipping cold bay

| Today I went swimming for the first time in a wk--flipping cold! So,I only swam the shoreline. And about a wk ago, I swam to the Rocks. I knew it was cold when I headed out there, but wanted to anyway. All of a sudden I couldn't feel my hands. Caramaba. I swam fast back to shore. I was in my shower before I got feeling back into my hands! What gives? I swam all Jan and Feb and it was fine. Is it currents? From where? How do I find this info online? When will it change? Is this typical? Does anyone have a recent temp for the bay water? I want my bathtub temp back. Anne |
