Daniel Yeah Air Bags I knew that, don't you realize that the whole chicanocarculture started in Española, New Mexico...check out Orlies, New Mexico lowriders invented the airbag cars, really pissed off the SoCal lowrider culture but they had to accept it. I had a buddy who's sister was actually Richie Valens' girlfriend and the first thing he did when he got some $$$ for La Bamba was to go out and by a 49 Merc sedan with suicide doors that was chopped and lowered to about 3 and a half feet in height...she later got the car!!
