Yes, things are different now in MX than in the past. Because of the demand for illegal drugs in US, we are now in the process of doing to MX what we have done to Columbia. We should be ashamed of ourselves.

I saw another post about making illegal drugs legal in the US and we could do that, but it most likely have far reaching negative consequences to the US. We have two legal drugs now, tobacco and alcohol. Each of them are responsible for several 100 thousand deaths and multiple billions of $ in loss productivity and health costs per year. What would happen if folks could get all the dope they wanted whenever they wanted?

Becasue of our drug habit, we have single-handlely changed much of the social and moral fiber or MX.

Back to MX. Ron is right....... I am much more likely to have someone attack my person or property in Chico, CA than when I am in LM.
