Things aren't perfect, but I don't think that the sky is falling.

I like my health care, my kids and grand kids are getting a good public education, they have jobs, work hard, and have not been touched by crime.

It does take money to make it all work, and we all grumble about what it costs, but it is still a workable and enviable system.
