I was actually going to take a machete with me to serve the same purpose yet perhaps a fluent Spanish speaker would be a better call, so as to keep the latent macho tendencies out of the interaction. Thanks again for your wise suggestions D. I can always count on you to come up with something intelligent and pertinent in dealing with the situation at hand.
