(no personal opinion other than WTF) Carol - anti war and other statements..seemed like a well expressed post to me. I don't see polar opposites with the exception of Mike R. As most of us know there are message boards where the conversation is more ....... whatever, sophisticated or something. I can only speak for myself and assume for others, but its like we are in the process of learning to use message boards, carry on conversations where you can quote and link to credible sources, and hopefully learning to be tolerant of each others opinions. At least we are not doing what I see on some boards which is just stupid name calling. esmitty has a point that this topic may not belong on this La Manzanilla board, but we get pretty bored sometimes, and what the hell....big deal. Also there's always the don't click if your not interested option.  |
