Tropical Storm Darby

We just got back from a day in Manzanillo after watching the USA game (go USA!) and haven't had time until just now to take a look at Darby - but with a name like that, it's bound to be trouble. The predicted track on Monday sure does get your attention, but that's a long way off and it's very rare to have a storm come close to the coast this early in the season. Take a look at the Historical map on Wunderground to see what usually happens: http://www.wunderground.com/tropical/tracking /ep201005.html I'll be watching this one very carefully though. By the way, it was 92/93 degrees in Manzanillo today - La Manz was 10 degrees cooler when we drove into town at 6 PM. Still humid but much comfortable. |
