I found this on another post site and thought it was good information. I cut and pasted the information below. Have a great day Mary A while back someone was asking about this and here is a link. Five years of retroactive taxes if caught certainly would catch anyone not reporting off guard. Interesting that perhaps wire payments to Canada are under the radar unless a disgruntled tenant chose to check with Hacienda.
