Suggestion PLACE LARGE "do not litter" signs on Posts dug into the beach at the foot of each beach entry passage. Surround the signs with some garbage cans so that when somebody throws something others can frown at them. Try to set up some peer pressure or hire a guy to walk around encouraging people to keep their vacation spot clean . Tell them about plastic and the turtles......Make them part of the team . Have a pet turtle to emphasize to the young and old alike what pollution can do to these wonderful creatures. Start preaching on the street level to visitors. More preach maybe less trash . Everyone deep down knows throwing trash stems from laziness. Place that on a sign .....Don`t be so damn lazy throw your trash in a garbage can . I`ll leave it for a more sensitive person than me to get to wording just right , but you get the gist of what I`m saying ! Two thumbs up Vicki M |
