one of the most amazing places I've encountered in my travels and the question that has always come to mind is why this hasn't already happened. Con dinero se baile el perro, they say. It's always been that way.

I doubt gringo presence is a positive thing right now unless one got shot. Let's see, who can we sacrifice, Chino comes to mind but alas, he's already gone and he was Canadian anyway. Hell, I can't even afford to drive over there to get shot or I'd go myself. (don't send money cause my second excuse is I'm scared to die).
In my endless search for a silver lining, I've got a bunch of paintings of Tenacatita, the way it was, maybe they'll be worth something now.
