I am actually surprised that Guad Reporter is not charging for access to these pages. I know they are struggling to make ends meet. The way they make their money is to sell advertising in the newspaper and on the Internet. The more people that visit the website the more their advertising gets exposure and the more page hits they get to lure future advertisers. To just copy and paste their work is basically stealing. I know you did not mean it like that, so I just kind of took it upon myself to point it out. Guadalajara Reporter was just in my office and all over the area gathering the next report for the paper. It's work and they deserve to be paid for that work. In the future, if the article is not free (you have to subscribe to read it) you may paraphrase the article i.e. sum it up but not copy paste it in its entirety. Mod D |
