Daniel, let me say one thing. I'm not saying I'm pro war. War is the final means when all else fails. I've been through 7 (yes 7) different conflicts in my span of 28 years in the Air Force, 24 reserves. None of us wanted a conflict but when politicians failed to come into an agreement we were asked to defend ourselves and countries who could not defend themselves. If you saw the people of Bosnia you would understand. In Vietnam, I was only 18 out of High School and didn't understand why we were there. Sometimes I still don't. I learned allot from the military service. Brotherhood, Camaraderie, Friendship, etc etc. We covered each other's back and depended upon each other. Those feelings still carry over into civilian life. The men and women in the service today are learning and doing the same today so that others can have freedom of speech, be free to run for office, practice any religious expressions, vote, and the list could go on and on. Try some of those freedoms in certain other countries and you see they don't and can't.
Thanks for letting me rant while getting that off my chest. AGAIN, Im not pro-war.
The people who keep saying "I want this FREE and that FREE" fail to realize the free as in freedom comes with a price.

P.S. Besides heading off to conflicts, the Military also does humanitarian missions over the entire world.
