The track today (Wednesday) shows a hook towards our part of the coast for next Monday. http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/graphics_ep5.shtml?5-daynl#contents Instead of heading out to sea like its predecessors Blas and Celia, Darby should continue on its northwestward track off the Mexico coast over the next few days. During this time, Darby is expected to strengthen into a stronger tropical storm. AccuWeather.com meteorologists will be monitoring the possibility that Darby eventually curves northward and moves onto the Mexico coastline. |
