Here's what June was like: Avg. high temp: 85F/ 30C Avg. low temp: 78.5F/ 25.9C Avg. humidity: high: 78.5% - low: 66.1% rainfall: .58/inch --------------------------------------------- Since we always forget what last year was like, here's June 2009: Avg. high temp: 85.7F/ 29.8C Avg. low temp: 79.9F/ 28.1C Avg. humidity: high: 76.6% - low: 63.6% rainfall: 5.37 inches As you can see, it was almost the same except for the amount of rain. Today's weather will be more of the same - overcast in the AM with gusty winds in the afternoon - which means little chance of thunderstorms building up and therefore no rain. At noon, it's a cool 79F/26.1C with 78% humidity. Last night was clear for the first time in a long time and we could see Venus and a gazillion stars sparkling overhead. It was almost enough to make up for all the days without sun. Is there anyone left in Barra who can tell us if you've really had rain (or sprinkles, or whatever) every day for the past week??
