Hi Jon and Arlene, I don't know how soon you are heading north in August, but there was horrible flooding around the Monterey area and northern mexico this week and friends of mine had a rough time driving to the border... the cuota is washed out in places near Monterrey and also around Saltillo... I guess the area was really devistated by the 48 inches of rain.. so just wanted you to have a heads up, as well as others who may not know about this..safe travels to all... Silver
