I am hoping the board gets back to normal. I have a couple people who are willing to help out when I get my period or need a vacation. That will be a good start and make a moderator change much easier when that time comes. Its evident that a good portion of the users of the board have faith in its continued value, and used the board to work through stuff, there are some very beautiful, insightful post. I got several emails and I know there are other discussions going on via email. I look forward to the day most all of the discussions are held on the board so more people (both now and in the future) can benefit from the dialog. I am very grateful for the kindness you have shown me. There are steps which can be taken to limit the moderation work which may be implemented one day, like password to post for example. There are message boards like reddit where the readers can vote weather or not they approve or disapprove of a post, so it is (in large part) the people who use the board who are the moderators. Communication is real work. Being aware of things like Cognitive dissonance, confirmation bias are very important. Knowing when you are already angry, on and on it goes. Conversation is an art, humility, understanding, compassion, patience, knowing yourself. Good luck to all of us as we learn and practice that throughout our lives. Mod D
