Bulldozers are on the beach RIGHT NOW destroying palapas. They may leave the hotels so they have places to stay. No one is allowed access to the beach. I was asked by the people of El Rebalsito if anyone has a boat/panga and would be willing to go take pictures of what's happening, that would be extremely helpful. You can't land on the beach, but could get close enough to take photos. I'm in touch with a reporter who writes Mexico news for The Atlantic Monthly, The New Republic, and other publications. The media really wants pictures and the only way to get them is approaching by sea, so please, if anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated. You can post them here or post your email address and I'll get in touch with you. Thank you.
