- .35/in. of steady, beautiful rain just fell (we'll probably get more tonight) - which brings the total to 13.39 inches!! The 2005 August total was 13.29 inches. Because of the way this August started out and the fear (mine, at least) that this would be another year where summer rainfall wouldn't be enough to replenish the L.M. aquifer, this is really good news. Jon, I'm just glad there are other people out there who can get excited about things like a good rainstorm - vive La Manzanilla summers! I'll post the August stats tomorrow. Anyone want to guess what the final total will be tonight??? |
