The rain lady was asleep last night when Daniel posted that question, but here I am at 8:45 AM; reporting for duty. We got a lot of rain over a 3 day period, not just overnight on the 20th: Saturday, 9/18: 1.33 inches Sunday, 9/19: 1.17 " Monday, 9/20: 1.94 " Only .28/in. all day yesterday, no rain last night; 4 day total = 4.72 inches Sounds like Barra got a lot more rain than we did this week. We've now exceeded the Sept. 2008 total of 13.38 inches - no wonder we're waterlogged. Our yearly total is now 40.54 inches. The previous high was 41.56 inches in 2008 so we're on the way to another record year, and with literally no major storms coming anywhere near us. Did anyone else notice the strange circular-motion bubbling water coming out of the manhole in front of the Delegado office yesterday? Looked like a mini tornado. Makes you wonder what's happening in the depth of the "sewer"system. |
