Woke up to an almost total white-out - couldn't see across the bay to Boca or Tenacatita, the jungle was filled with mist and the hill was a hulking gray giant. Our previous rainfall record has now been broken - new total is 41.62 inches, 2003's was 41.56 inches. No storms coming this way and that crazy mixed-up low pressure system which has been meandering around offshore to the south for the past week has now moved north. This rain may have been part of that northward movement last night. |
