I've heard from several people in La Manzanilla and the Tenacatita area congratulating me on a successful resolution to the conflict with the developer in Tenacatita because he lost the concession to the beach.

Don't get out the champagne glasses (or the tequila) yet.

As far as we know, it has not been resolved. He still has control of the area. Legal actions, protests, etc. are still continuing.

The public pressure must continue on state and federal officials if there is any hope of a resolution. If everyone thinks it's settled when it isn't, that doesn't bode well.

So please, quash that rumor if someone suggests to you that it's all been resolved.
