Dorrie had given him milk immediately and then at the vets he was given a sedative that made him vomit up the tripe. He spent the day on the IV being given positive energy by everyone at the clinic that day. I've never brought him back to La Manzanilla as he is very macho and bravo. He's safer patrolling our yard against deer.
Last year when I took Joco (Encanto) to our La Manzanilla vet, Rocio, for suspected poisoning, she gave him a charcoal which helps get rid of what's in the stomach. By the way, is he still around, Daniel? I think of him always and would like to continue my friendship (dogsharing) as I spent a lot of time last year with the little guy. Maybe bring him back north if he doesn't have a family. He is the black and white spotted dog who wandered from his Mexican family once he experienced the excitement of downtown life.
