Crocs trying to munch on FiFi .....outrageous! Why would they do such a anti social thing? What could they be thinking ? I say back fill the mangroves put in a golf course and turn them all into dominatrix collars. Seriously though, its a dangerous situation . Because of the protection and the feeding they have enjoyed , crocs that usually take 3 or 4 decades to grow to 15 feet long are now growing to that length within 18 years. Now you are faced with crocs that have "size" and the "speed" of "youth" and little fear of anything. The magic and wonder of the mangroves is that we can see these wonderful creatures in their natural habitats and they should continue to be protected , but the reality is that its next to a town. As the croc population grows along with the town these incidents are inevitable as food becomes scarcer. Should some of the larger crocs be selected and removed somewhere ? More fencing ? You need a croc committee ! |
