A couple of brave persons recently did a kayak trip up La Vena (the lagoon which meets the
sea north of La Locos / Blue Bay).



When they got to the end, the place the boats used to park, there was a fence 20
meters from the lagoon. The police (not sure if they were private / federal or what)
met them at the waters edge. The police put a boot on the kayak and made it very clear
that the persons were not getting off there. So much for the federal zone / constitution of Mexico.



I would say that is indicative of the greeting we would get with the picnic idea.
Nothing a couple hundred people wouldn't cure. Oh, the dream of the people of
Mexico saying in mass, "this is our beach and we will use it when we
want to"! Children of Emiliano Zapata, where are we?
