What about the people of Tenacatita? Are you referring to their plight as well? Sounds pretty selfish and indifferent to me. Please clarify. Perhaps this comment was intended for me and/or other tourists?

If so, you'll be happy to know that I have decided to stay home and fight King Coal. Its less dangerous than raising my voice in Mexico. I'm not the type to lay on the beach enjoying the sun while my neighbors suffer. Its easier, safer and more efficient to protest about Mexican corruption and human rights violations from the safety of Canada.

I love the Bay of Tenacatita and the many friendships that were developing there. There will be a change (all things change in time) and I will return when the discord ends. For now, I'll have to be content with vitamin D from a bottle.

btw - If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. If you're going to live there, do something to earn it.
