Tenacatita reported open on Tomzap

This is a paste from Tomzap posted today at 3:17p we just returned from a beautiful walk on the beach at Tena... and yes, it was a bit complicated... there were no services anywhere inside the gates available to us...no food, drink, bathrooms or parking lots... cameras and identifications were left in trust with the mixed batch of private and state type guards...truck was searched for weapons(?) the three new ponds outside the gate are parts of an aquaculture project for raising telapia fish...not part of events inside the gate travel was restricted to the newly remodeled beach (only nine palapa structures remain, and will be food service spots) the beach has been cleaned and is beautiful and sports a new double row of palms above the high tide mark there are nine remaining homes and the new hotel on the bay side, and the other side shows many homes still standing but with missing locks and gates hanging just a bit open... two large homes and the new hotel appear occupied... we were searched again on the way out, and i think the huge rottweiler speaks English...
