So the financing seems to be from hook up fees and periodic pulses of state money. It is a big and hard step from individual septic tanks to a central sewer system not well recieved by most and not really that great of and idea for many reasons. But capping growth at septic limit is the only other way to keep our septic tanks. And stopping growth "Ain't gonna happin". Moving on to a Central Sewer also opens Pandoras box ...as the existing diffused small leaching systems(septic tanks) ....that mostly work well, are now all sent to a place that has to work hard and perfect ...but is often overwhelmed and subject to breakdown and every body now has to get together and pay to get it going and keep it up. All really hard and maybe it is inevitable ....but still a mess |
