Just a reminder that there is still room in the upcoming bamboo construction course being offered by Tierralegre, A.C. There are about 8 spots left as it continues to fill. Tierralegre, A.C., has already awared two scholarships to members of the community, one to an adult and one to a middle-school student. The course, which covers bamboo cultivation, treatment and hand-on construction, and will be taught by one of Mexico´s foremost experts on bamboo construction, starts at 12:00 noon on Sunday, Nov. 21 and ends at 12:00 noon on Thursday, Nov. 25. The cost, which includes breakfast and lunch, is $3,800 pesos. Please inquire if you´re interested in camping or accommodation options.
