Driving from US to La Manz in December

I'm driving from California to La Manzanilla and am looking for anyone who would like to come along as a rider or anyone driving who would like to caravan. My dates are very flexible in December but at this point I plan to leave Sacramento on Dec. 26 and take about 5 days to get to La Manzanilla. As no one on this message board will know me, perhaps a brief introduction is a good idea... I'm from Victoria, BC, travel with my dog, have driven to Mexico a number of times before, and am really excited to be working with La Catalina Educational Foundation for 2011!
