HELLO FRIENDS AND LOVERS OF GOOD FOOD. We are now aware of the rules of the message board (for business only one post per week !) and it also makes perfect sense. So now, instead of having little posts often , we are going to have longer ones with more info once a week. If you are into good food and interested in gourmet meals, you may even want to print some of our posts to have the info handy… we have been open for a few days now, and our budget foods ( KennyBurgers, Comida Corrida and our Gorditas) are very well received. Some of you, who know Chef Miguel suggested that he should cook more fancy, gourmet class food… ok, we are slowly , little by little doing exactly that.( see below) BREAKFAST. We do have a large selection ( light and not so light ) including Granola with Organic Farm Yoghurt, Poached and Boiled Eggs, and Chef Miguel decided to make his legendary Eggs Benedict twice a week, Sundays and Thursdays ( like he did in the past ) There are two types of café, Americano and European, as well as Nescafe classico and Decaf KENNYBURGERS, yes ,they are exactly according to lupita’s old, secrete recipe We added ShrimpBurgers and SiegfriedBurgers, and FishBurgers are still available, we are working on a VeggyBurger ( to be announced ) On Wednesday is POZOLE day, eat in or take out ( by the liter) available from 11:00h a.m. Friday is Fish and Shrimp day and… Saturday is PAELLA day ( another one of Chef Miguel‘s legendary Gourmet Meals ! ) There are more gourmet foods planned and coming, so stay tuned Those Special Gourmet Meals come in two versions: 1) Regular Meal starting at lunch time and 2) Gourmet Candle Light de Luxe Dinner at 6:30H p.m. ( 18:30) that includes a delicious soup or hors d'euvre, maincourse with a glass of wine or champagne and desserts. For X-mas you have a choice of our Super Turkey or a very fine Fish Dinner ( miguel’s Dorado !) For the gourmet dinners it would be advisable to make reservations. Most customers tell us that DRAFT Beer tastes better… In the next few days we should be able to fire up our EXPRESSO Machine and YES, we do have WIFI !
