to the Rocks

Yesterday I swam to the Rocks. brrrrr. It was a tad warmer than the last time I swam about 2 wks ago--bearable. I was sooo glad to be back into the water, but it just wasn't the lukewarm water of a year ago. I hit about 8-10 big, soft, round things. Not sure what they were. I'd forgotten my goggles so couldn't check it out. I was hoping to hear whales singing, as I'd had reports of several sitings, but no dice. Anyone know how far underwater the song travels? Also, I brought back an underwater watch that registers water temperature. It turns out to be a mini computer and I can't figure out how to set the time, let alone check water temp, etc. If anyone knows how to 'make these things go', can you help me? Thanks, anne
