Hi Chip: I'm glad that you're OK. I understand from your neighbours the seriousness of your situation.

It is all well and good for people to be cavalier in their reaction to scorpions, but they are not "old" news to many of us and there are very severe reactions that aren't solved by tequilla or gardening. I think your advice is well heeded.

It might be a good idea for the emergency people to have a list of who has epipens for such emergencies, with the understanding that this is an interim measure to save a life and that medical attention must still be sought.
