Owners and Renters

We all know that there is a difference of rights between owners and renters of properties. We, unfortunately, had the recent experience to discover this first hand. Our family was coming to visit us in La Manz for a 2 week holiday. We recommended a casita that we had seen last yeat and knew that it would be perfect. They booked last March and sent their deposit. One week before arriving they were informed by the agent that another rental needed to be found as the owner was rescinding on the agreement as they had family that was coming to stay. Thanks to the agent for finding another place promptly. However, although adequate, the new location did not offer many of the benefits they were looking forward to - view, balcony,cooking facilities, privacy and quietness. We have made the best of the situation. It has, however, certainly affected the enjoyment of this two week period that we spend together as a family each year. To the owner - shame on you and how unprofessional. If you do not want your casita to be rented by property management - remove it from their roster.
